UPDATED: SEP 11, 2011 Pours with a 3 finger head that quickly dissipates but leaves the best lacing I have seen yet in an Oktoberfest. The body of the beer is orangeish/gold and significantly lighter than a typical Oktoberfest.
Smells between a typical munich helles and an Oktoberfest. Malty but with some noble hops balancing it.
Edt: Got a fresh bottle. The taste is much like a Hacker-Pschorr maerzen, but with a little bit more hops and a bit lighter on the palate.
It is a killer Festbier, just get it fresh, I made the mistake of having older bottles in years’ past. thewolf (12534) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2012
Tap @ the brewery. Klar mørk gylden, mellem cremet hvidt head. Malty aroma, light grass. Highish carbonation, kinda fat and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has fine maltiness, sweet, a bit sugary, fair bitterness. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 12, 2007
12oz bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain, a bit musty. Taste is sweet grain/light malt, a bit musty/barnyard, secondary/mild (mostly hallertau?) hops-some woody. Seems quite like a helles lager. Easy drinking. Mild carbonation. Enjoyed on-tap at the Buckeye Beer Engine. Apple juice colour with some white wheat. The aroma and tase of sour wheat. Below average mouthfeel. Not up to expectations for this brewery. kevnic2008 (11965) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - FEB 6, 2016
Pours a clear golden color. Dusty hay bread malt aroma and flavor with a suitable amount of hops bitterness and a short finish.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 can’t agree with the low scores on this one. appearance is lighter than your typical purty okto lager, but the aroma and flavor are malty up front, well balanced, with a nice feel and it’s full flavored. not the best, but WAY above average. madsberg (11762) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2006
Bottled. Light golden coloured. Clear. Dense off white head. Crisp and fruity aroma. Light herbal. Flavour is full of fruitsweetness balanced by a subtle herbal touch. Is medium bodied. Dry mouthfeel. Very fresh and easy to drink. Has a light bitter end. Quite good oktoberfest in my book. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 10, 2006
Bottle. Sweet lemony malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lemon peel and barley/corn malt flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Pretty hoppy for a German beer - strong cheap lager flavors. Not as clean tasting as most Oktoberfest beers. hopscotch (11047) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2007
Bottle... Clear, pale yellow lager with a large, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is sweet and floral with heavy notes of orange blossom honey. Sweet, honeysuckle flavor with barely enough bitterness to prevent this malt bomb from becoming downright cloying. Medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Lightly sweet finish. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009
