COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Very good head with good retention. The was very light yellow and very clear. The color was inconsistent with the amber hue typical in this style. The smell was not good at all and was very similar to a Bud light or similar light pilsner, again it was atypical for the style. The taste was like the aroma and appearance: light and crisp and not like most Oktoberfest/Marzen. The mouth feel was thin and didn’t hang around. Overall it was more like a pilsner or even a summer session and was not a good Oktoberfest.

Aroma; grass, meadow, very pale malts. Look; off white große Schaumkrone, pale golden body. Taste; pale malt, grain-limonade, grass, cardboard-juice, and finishes pale. Feel; thin. Is it really 5.8 in here? Overall; disappointment. Meh!! Well, it was a lot of rain during summer of 2017, maybe too much for this annual batch. Poured from bottle. AROMA - faint malt APPEARANCE - clear light gold. TASTE - very sweet roasted malt, hops, spice. PALATE - pretty drinkable but too sweet OVERALL - a disappointment. I would not buy again

Flaske 500ml spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune på Nerstranda 8 Nov 17. Lys gylden. Høyt tett kritthvitt skum. Litt lacing. Lett smørmaltaroma. Smaken det samme. Uspennende.

Rune (13506) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2017
500ml bottle shared by djoeye. A snow white head over a clear pale golden body. Clingy lacing. Dusty hops and dough on the nose. Mid-sweet flavours of noble hops and dough followed by a rather dry and sweet finish. Straightforward. (Rating session at Finns with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 08.11.2017).

Awesome German beer. A little hops to offset the malt, but not so much as to make it garbage (like so many USA "crafties). They have been making this for over a 1,000 years, it looks like they know what they are doing. Wonderful Octoberfest beer with a GREAT TASTE!!!!. Nice site, so glad to see a site interested in beer reviews and not all the "fruits and nuts" found with a lot of beer drinkers today (as is found on some sites that claim to be your "advocate") who seem to only care that the beer has 150 other odd items added to the beer to make it "taste better". No thanks. May I have an actual beer and not some mix of spices and pine branches???

По-моему для стиля слишком сладко. Аромат и вкус солода слабоват. Не ожидал от такой пивоварни.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Nice mellow malty aroma. Medium body and smooth carbonation level. Balanced sweetness. Mellow malty, mild fruity and mild herbal flavor. Nice refreshing stuff.
