2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear pale gold with a thin, soapy, white head. Aroma is toast, sweet hay, mineral water and grassy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, toast, hay, cereal, floral and spicy hops and a hint of honey. A little boozy if it isn’t really cold. Light body, slick feel and light to moderate carbonation. Reminds me more of a pils that is big on alcohol strength and low on flavor.
Golden color, small but persistent bright white head and strong lacing. Nose is toasted bread, light grassy hop, a hint of toffee-malt syrup. Rounded medium-full palate with a sweet grainy emphasis, very mild tartness, caramel, medium bitter at finish. Good but feels like it needs food. I could imagine drinking quarts of this with pizza, or lots of wurst, but maybe not standalone. Getting to the bottom of this glass, the graininess becomes more pronounced, as does a mild booziness become apparent. Doesn’t end well. DWestrick (765) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 3, 2017

500 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Clear gold color with a white head of foam. The aroma is grassy and floral. Doughy and cracker sweetness. Medium body and high carbonation. An okay beer. felip989 (199) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - MAY 6, 2017
Golden with a small white head. Aroma is bread, cereal, herbal notes. Same in taste. Light bitter aftertaste. Jabic (611) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Ar: Moderately toasted malt; clean, with slight bread and sweetness. Ap: Clear light orange; medium-small white head with low retention, leaving a mixed matrix of large and small bubbles. T: Lightly sweet toasted malt, rich without being an assault of melanoidins; clean yeast profile; some graininess mid-palate, mingles with chalk and herbal hop flavor; medium-low bitterness; finish is clean and lightly toasty. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; finish is dry. O: A very drinkable festbier; rich melanoidin malt character is present without being over the top; sweetness is kept low and bitterness is kept just high enough to keep the beer dry and refreshing.

Bottle. Light gold color, faint skunk. Bitterness on the flavor, biscuit malt. Some sweet notes. Light grassy hops. Straightforward. Nice example of the style. Easily poundable. Larry_Duffman (552) - - MAR 19, 2017
I had it from the bottle. It was a bit skunky. The taste was corn, caramel malt, and grain. It was a bit thin. This was below average. phfyysik (1308) - Tartu, ESTONIA - MAR 10, 2017

Golden color, nice head. Malty aroma. Taste: bitter start, pleasant malty mouthfeel, light bitter aftertaste. Nice lager.
