Hazy blond coloured beer with small white head and no visible carbonation. Yeasty aroma. Full palate. Finish is yeasty and fruity. hopeye101 (45) - Draughthouse, Texas, USA - AUG 3, 2008
Poured a 2 finger head into my pint glass (I know I should’ve used my weizen glass, but I have to hand wash that)...
Head dissipated in about 1 minute. Color is straw, slightly cloudy, I even dumped all the yeast into the glass.
Smell: cloves , what else can I say. Kind of like standing in a field of cloves.
Taste: very clovey, some dryness in the back of the mouth. A tad of sweetness trying to get out but the carbonation keeps it back.
Mouthfeel: Another 5. creamy very nice.
Drinkability : that’s what these beers are made for.
This is a very nice beer which showcases Weihenstephan’s amazing hefe yeast. Perfectly done. gameface23 (131) - Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 31, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2008 Pours a cloudy straw color with a white head that lasts the duration of drinking. Nice, well balanced smell of wheat, yeast, clove and banana. I was drinking out of a tall hefeweizen glass and it laced the entire length of it. great beer! Quevillon (3174) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2008
Had this a while back. Pours light hazy orange with head made up of many small bubbles. Aroma is banana and bread. Flavor is yeast and banana. Not really my style, however as far a the style goes this is pretty good.

Pours a hazy orange, somewhat muddy body; large, white head, mostly lasting with a fair lacing; small bubbles of average density. The beer has a heavy banana aroma, together with moderate hops notes and moderate-to-heavy yeasty notes, like fresh dough. Flavour is moderately sweet and acidic with a light bitter note that comes up in the long finish. Medium body with an oily texture; lively carbonation; light-to-moderate astringency. Tasty beer, easily sessionable. iammarc (382) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - JUL 27, 2008
50cl bottle from Supermarket. One of the more favoured hefe-weissbier. A fresh, fruity wheat beer which is very refreshing. kragelund (107) - , DENMARK - JUL 27, 2008
(Bottle) Bours golden cloudy with a big head. Aroma is yeasty with some citrus notes. Flavour is wheaty with yeast esters. A very refreshing and drinkable hefeweizen, really nice (I think this was a rather fresh bottle) bsierra (213) - Vista, California, USA - JUL 21, 2008
On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Aroma is yeasty with esters of banana and coriander. Color is a hazy orange yellow with very good carbonation and a big thick head. Taste is light and fruity. Starting with medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with a fruity yeast flavor and a mellow citrus taste then ends with a faint banana and coriander flavor and a gentle bitterness. After taste is clean with the citrus taste riding out the longest. This is one of the best Hefeweizens I nave ever had.

50 cl bottle. Dim amber/orange with plenty of white lathing head. Citrus and banana in aroma, some bread as well behind that typical wheat beer aroma. Sweet taste with banana and bread. A suitable acidity and a thick mouthfeel.
