COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Straw-gold in the glass with a downright volatile, cloudy, light head. Lots of spice aromas and the smell of banana bread. Light, aromatic palate finishes soft and smooth, unlike lots of other hefes, this one finishes lemony, crisp and very very smooth. Flavors are closely integrated and balanced between fruit and grains. Classic and outstanding.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden orange, pale amber colour, hazy, with brief white head. Fruity, estery, slightly yeasty nose with notes of banan, green apples, Seville orange, clove and coriander. Fruity, slightly yeasty taste with banana, tropical fruit, hints of chocolate and spicy notes of clove and coriander. Some wheaty sweetness throughout but drier and more strained than many other of the same style. Solid and tasty hefeweissen.

Bottle poured in to my Paulaner weizen glass. Hazy yellow orange with a billowing snow white head. Lots of carbonation raising through the glass. Clove, citrus, and muted banana in the aroma. Wheat, dough, banana and clove flavors. Doughy palate with some spritz. Finishes with a twang.
