Golden, hazy with a nice head. The aroma is nice with notes of wheat and banana. The flavour is slightly sweet and spicy with notes of citrus. The citrus is stronger than in the average weiss, but it’s far from moving towards a wit. A nice weiss bier for sure. BREWMUSKCLES (2743) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2007
I AM BEGINNING TO GIVE A LITTLE LESS CREDIT FOR THE RECURRING THEME OF BANANA AND CLOVE OR CORIANDER FOUND IN GERMAN BEERS THAT APPARENTLY HAVE ALL GOTTEN THE SAME IDEA. THIS IS A NICE BREW IN THAT TRADITION. YEASTY BODY THAT IS GOOD. A TAD THINNISH TO SHOW A REFRESHING CHARACTERISTIC. MORE BREADY THAN BUNNY. A BIT TANGY. A HAPPY BREW. QUALITY SUGAR -LIKE HONEY- THAT IS MELLOW. I’M THINKING CREAM OF WHEAT YEEESS WITH THE PAT OF BUTTER. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - JUN 9, 2007
Very nice hefe, good balance of banana and clove, with a smooth heavy palate texture. When I try to get people to try new beers this would be what I start with. Most people around here drink a lot of american wheat beers, this kinda shows them the light, lots of flavors in a "easy to drink for any palate" kind of brew. wcampbell (721) - Clemson, South Carolina, USA - JUN 8, 2007
I did not like this one. It was very bitter and carbonated. Yeasty and thin, but not watery. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2007
very refreshing, very tasty. I especially appreciated the perfect carbonation coupled with the not overpowering wheat beer flavors. Excellent.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, foamy head. Aroma of citrus, honey and spices. FLavor is citrus, honey, spices, and banana. The beverage itself was quite refreshing, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it a very pleasant finish that makes me want to go out and get some more to be perfectly honest. A perfect refresher on a hot day - even though I could drink it all year long. scraff (2125) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 4, 2007
Dark hazed gold, foamy white head. Nose held notes of of soft clove and banana, with just a touch of pear. As it warmed, hints of lemony yeast and vanilla honey emerge. Flavor was full on spiced frutiness that merges into a light yeastiness. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry, refreshing finish. A classic summer brew... mike_77 (7089) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUN 4, 2007
Dark cloudy yellow colour. Lightly sparking. Fresh citrus aroma. Fresh spicy taste with some pepper in there. Some lingering carbonation keps the flavour alive in the mouth after swallowing. MrBunn (2848) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2007
Bottle. Pour is a darkish gold, light amber... a little cloudy. Head is pretty substantial and it is taking multiple pours to get it all into the glass. Aromas are lovely. Sweet honey wheat aromas mix with a little bit of coriander and cloves spicing with some floral hops in the background. Bread and yeast. Flavor is about the same with some banana at the tail end that leaves a pleasant little aftertaste. This is a really nice hefe. kopher (593) - New York, USA - JUN 3, 2007
Pours cloudy pale orange, tons of white froth. Strong wheat aroma--yeast and light-bread-y--and citrus. Robust flavor-tangy and bitter, and some banana. Full-bodied for a hefe and clean creamy finish.
