Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Geiserich (4519) - Linz, AUSTRIA - FEB 21, 2014
Bottle: Cloudy yellow color, white head. Aroma of wheat, grain, citrus. Flavor is grainy, yeasty, light wheaty, salty, citrus. Not very tasty.

Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2014
Pours a golden yellow slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells lemon and typical weizen. Tastes watery and lemon. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Bosbouw (2925) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2014
Oranje gele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoet, mout, beetje muf. Smaakt waterig, dun. Smaakloos.

Train tasting Bamberg Jolly Day 1 24/01/14. Cloudy orange pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is worty, bready and hint of banana. Flavour is light bread with a touch of acid, some sickly sweet. Palate is harsh carbonaic acid that attacks the tongue. Bile.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle at Weihenstephaner Am Dom - Freising, 26/01/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is aspartamic, grain, paper. Taste comprises grain, straw, dirt, vague citric drizzle, aspartame. Light bodiment, watery, drying cessation to the little flavour that there was. Poor effort for style, despite what it was I expected something a little more clever in terms of getting a bit flavour out of the product from Weihenstephaner!

Hazy yellow, large white head. Aroma: spices, canned vegetables. TYhin mouthfeel, low carbonation, otherwise quite similar in taste, acidity, cloves. Not bad for alcoholfree

Beertobealive (576) - Courbevoie, FRANCE - JAN 18, 2014
Nice foamy white head with some dry cereals aroma. Nice opaque yellow gold color. No real flavor but 50cl is a bit too much to finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Citron, light sweetness, medium sourness, medium bitterness. Pas bon pour un sous.

Vighals (3981) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - JAN 9, 2014
Gylden brun med høyt hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Litt røyklukt og noe hvete. Søtt litt emmen smak. Doven, lite kullsyre uten bitterhet.
