COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Marstonlad (787) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2014
Pours cloudy golden with a big frothy head. Aroma is fairly similar with normal hefeweizens as fruits and wheat malts feature, though some differences appear too; it is slightly soapy. Taste is unfortunately too light and mild. It is initially light sweet, later drier. Wheat malts, soap and bubblegum form a light bodied, watery mix. Overall fairly fresh but not at all at the same level with hefeweizens. Decent for a non alcoholic beer, not much else.

Flaska hemma - doftar unket. Ölet är grumligt och med fin skumkrona som kan förväntas av stilen. Men där tar det positiva slut. Smakar typ som mineralvatten som blivit gammalt, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

caesar (6748) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2014
Bottled from Mitra Bunnik, BB 16.01.15, medium sample, poured into a tulip glass. Aroma has wheat, some banana, some clove, slight citrussy, slight cardboard. A bit more refreshing and fruity aroma and less caramel malt than the franziskaner alkoholfrei. Taste is slight bitter, slight sweet. Less wort like and less malty, but also a bit thinnish, but more refreshing. I think I prefer this one slightly, as it is more easily drinkable, but the malty character in the Franziskaner also gives it more body and flavor.
