COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Looks the part when poured; frothy head and faint sour aroma. Decent malty flavour, refreshing. One of the best non-alcoholic beers I’ve tried.

Bottle from systembolaget. Was expecting better to be honest, as this alcohol free number had a pretty good reputation. It tasted odd, and maybe I need to be a more die hard Hefeweizer to love it, but it is like off peach, too sweet without the alcohol to prop it up. Prefer others but still not an awful one at all.

500 ml Bottle. Pours with cloudy, bright golden color with a big, fat white head! The nose is slightly sweet & malty, some yeast, some cereals. Taste of wheat, yeast, some malty and fruity taste. medium bodiede. Nice low alcohol!

biir (1318) - Berlin, - APR 11, 2017
Bottle - hazy golden color, huge thick white head. its okay to drink, has non of that ugly malt sweetness many other n/a have. on the other hand it has little to offer. quite bland. some malt and hay. vanilla in the nose. fairly carbonated. okay.

lesifflebiere (1874) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 12, 2017

I really liked it. I’ve really found a non-alcoholic beer that tastes like beer. There is a refreshing taste of beer but without a real beer acohol. Repeat the test again.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008.

Flasche 0,5l: Helles Braun, kräftige Trübung, kräftiger stabiler feinporiger Schaum; in der Nase frisch, leichte Süße, malzig, Getreide, kräftige Hefearomen, Brotteig, leichte Säure, unreife Bananen, leichte Röstnoten; frischer, eher trockener Körper, Getreide, trockene Malzigkeit, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, Hefearomen, etwas Hopfen, leichte Zitrusnoten, deutliche Säure; angenehmer säuerlich-trockener Nachgang mit Hefearomen

Bottle. A gift from my non-drinking father in law, he he. A good one, but misses a lot offcourse. Misses all the yeasty banana and the coriander, but got a lot of wheat witch makes it ok.
