COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. An excellent accompaniment from hearty meals and game to chocolate and nut desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Pours a dark hazy gold with frothy head, aroma has a hint of...chocolate? Pretty smooth, a bit fruity, better than some.

50 cl. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense aromas of banana, wheat, spices. Hints of fruits, grains, toasted malts, caramel, nuts, dried fruits, toffee. No hop aromas. Appearance: deep golden to amber color with slightly off-white head. Quite hazy. Very high head thickness with very high retention. Creamy foam made of small to medium sized bubbles. Low Brussels’ lacing. Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of toasted malts, wheat. Hints of banana, caramel, spices, fruits, dark fruits, nuts. Balance is on the malt sweetness side. Not much hop flavors nor bitterness. Palate: low to medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation, quite long mainly sweet finish of malts, wheat, toasted malts, caramel, banana, spices, toffee, dark fruits, fruits, nuts. Quite refreshing despite of all the sweetness. High drinkability. Overall: good appearance, not very intense but pleasant aromas of banana, spices, toasted malts. Very pleasant flavors of toasted malts, caramel. Hints of banana, spices, fruits, dark fruits, nuts, toffee. Very good brew.

500ml bottle into weizen glass. Highly carbonated caramel sauce-coloured beer with towering white head. Nose of bananas, cloves and spice. Taste is fruity and malty with a peppery spicy finish and late caramel bananas. Excellent, timeless, classic Dunkelweizen. Really delicious.

Color ámbar, más naranja si le da la luz, muy turbio con capa de espuma blanca de tres dedos de grosor (muy buena retención, nunca llega a disiparse del todo). Carbonatación alta. Textura acuosa y efervescente. Aroma a malta tostada, caramelo, pan, bizcocho. Sabor que sigue al aroma, ligeramente dulce, intenso. Final dulce con el caramelo bastante presente. Muy rica.

Bärnstensfärgad, grumlig. Doftar bröd, knäck och honung. I smaken finn aningen rostade toner och nötter. (De Klomp 2017-04-29)

Bottle 50 cl. Dark, hazy, middle off white head. Aroma of malts, sugar and yeast. The taste is mildly bitter, with a sweet undertone that gets stronger in the aftertaste.

This brew is a hazy copper color with a medium thick white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, roasted nuts and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, banana and touches of spice. The finish is sweet with a malt and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

Interesting to compare this with regular hefeweissbier. The same wheats, banana ester aroma, but darker in colour with a decent head. Tastes more malty with toffee and caramel. Decent drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Obfita piana, kremowa, drobne, średnie i większe pęcherzyki. Leciutka nuta alkoholu. W smaku na początku słodkawe, bananowe, owocowe, zbożowe, potem przemija uczucie słodyczy i wchodzi taka przypalona skórka od chleba, a potem wytrawny, gorzkawy, mocno fenolowy finisz przypominający piwa belgijskie. Zostawia uczucie pieczenia na języku. Wysycenie po przelaniu dość niskie. Gdyby pić prosto z butelki to wysokie. Goryczkę chmielową ciężko ocenić przez te mocne pieprzowe fenole, ale na pewno jest, oczywiście na niskim poziomie. Pełnia piwa średnio-niska.
