Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. An excellent accompaniment from hearty meals and game to chocolate and nut desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

0.5 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Appearance is light brown or dark amber, cloudy and big head. Taste has ripe banana and not much else. This is not heavy stuff despite the darker colour.

500ml bottle. Murky pale brown beer, big fluffy white head. Nose is spicy, bready, banana, something sourish and citric. Flavor is smooth and creamy, a touch of acidity, almost like rye bread plus the spice notes, wheat. Banana and sourish spice notes in the finish, lingering yeast notes.

Already in nose the beer is very spicy and warm, than at the first source it's the same. U can taste clows, cinnamon and sugar like a Christmas dessert. Super nice!

Drinked in bottle. On the nose is amazing, warm cinnamon and cloves notes. A Christmas pudding with some herbs freshness. In mouth is medium bodied less full than I expected and specially less rich. Very drinkable and balanced with this "winter puddings" finish. The after taste is spicy and fresh. Great beer

Pours a dark dirty gold with a big white head. The aroma is a banana and a slight hint of clove. Des follows the nose. Overall this is really good I'm not much into this style but I could drink us again.

Bottle at Puzzles?, Peterborough. Pours tan and hazy, with a wisp of white head. Overpowering banana aroma with a touch of potpourri hidden in the yeast. Balanced bittersweet taste but there's a sourdough funkiness that livens up the finish. Oddly, I get a strong note of tamarind in the finish. Well-judged carbonation. Kicks the Hefe into touch.
