COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. An excellent accompaniment from hearty meals and game to chocolate and nut desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

0.5l from gift pack in the LCBO. Served in the glass it came with. Appearance: Cloudy golden-brown, frothy, sparse, beige head. Aroma: Banana, cloves, orange, cinnamon, wheat. Palate: Medium bodied, smooth, medium fizziness, clean finish. Taste: sweet, very slight hint of sour in the finish. Not as complex of a flavour as I’d hoped for.

Not too keen on this one. Expected much much more. Taste a bit medicinal and has a citrusy/lemon finish that I did not care for ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice head. Slightly sweet with the traditional banana notes not quite detectable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy, light amber colour with average carbonation. Yeasty aromas of banana and clove, some caramel from the roasted malt. Taste followed the nose - light, fruity, refreshing, hint of caramel blending with banana & clove taste typical of wheat beers. Medium bodied, enjoyable drink in the sun!
