(bue sur place): Un nez agréable d’épices à gâteau et d’une douceur provenant de l’apparence de banane. Le corps est évidemment mince et la finale sèche mais on est loin d’un fiasco faible en alcool.

MartinT (10102) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
My Bottom Line:

Mild caramel and cloves rise from this Leicht Weissbier’s bubbly mouthfeel, building a refreshing though forgettable pint.

Further Personal Perceptions:

-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy beige.

-Drinkability is high, but mostly due to the body’s dryness.

-Banana esters are surprisingly low in this version.

-Like in many German ’leicht’ or ’alkoholfrei’ brews, the nose conveys ’beer’, but the flavor profile cannot follow up. Oh well, I’m not going to get pregnant any time soon.

On tap at their restaurant in Freising.

Bamberg Jolly Day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared at the Weihenstephaner Am Dom in Freising. Clouded greyish orange coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is banana bread and dough. Flavour is doughy, some acid and light milkyness. Finish has dull banana and spicy clove. Some residual sweetness. Carbonic acid in the finish.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a foamy, white head. Nose is like a sweet banana candy. Taste is similar to the smell. Sweet and candy-like. Medium body. Vigorous carbonation. Decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white head.
Nose is bitter orange, bready notes, banoffee pie, clove.
Taste comprises light noffee pie, grainy, straw, sugar.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok light Hefe, looks and feels the part but lacks a little at the business end.

500ml thanks to djoeye for sharing. A wheat haze to a golden body. Two-finger sized white head that lasts throughout. Fair lacing. Sweet fruity nose, spiced with clove and coriander. Apple fruity taste joined late banana, spices and wheat . Harsh, short-lived dry fruit ending. A bit thin in the mouth, but quite alright to drink (Tromsø 10.11.2013)

Bottle, purchased at Kilpishalli Finland.
High white standing deutschhhh head.
A bit hazy apricot body.
Apples, hops, coriander & pepper to the nose.
Tastes hops, wheat malt, apple.
Easy to drink and only slightly watery.
Ends fruity and a little dry. Good.
