Great head, and sweet lemon grass smell, this beer was a little sweeter than most hefeweizens, and a little bit hard to drink due to the overpowering sweetness, but still preferable to most beer in general gam (3930) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 6, 2012

My Bottom Line:Maracuja05 (1280) - Mainz, GERMANY - JUL 17, 2017
Mild caramel and cloves rise from this Leicht Weissbier’s bubbly mouthfeel, building a refreshing though forgettable pint.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy beige.
-Drinkability is high, but mostly due to the body’s dryness.
-Banana esters are surprisingly low in this version.
-Like in many German ’leicht’ or ’alkoholfrei’ brews, the nose conveys ’beer’, but the flavor profile cannot follow up. Oh well, I’m not going to get pregnant any time soon.
On tap at their restaurant in Freising.
21-06-17 // 500ml bottle. Cloudy orange beer with a great white head. Very refreshing Weizenbier, mild in taste, mild banana, mild yeasty, a bit watery because of the low abv, but a great choice after sports. hopscotch (11113) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2008
Bottle... Clear yellow ale with a large, fluffy, white head. Lengthy retention. The aroma is of citric acid and yeast... lemony and a touch breadsy. No esters or phenols of note. Nice! Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Citrusy flavor... lightly sweet; moderately tart. Crisp, tangy, refreshing finish. Much better than expected!

It’s unclear, dark golden with a huge, white, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of banana, clove and wheat. The flavour is sweet with notes of clove, citrus, banana, wheat, and the finish is dry with notes of clove and citrus. It’s truly a light with a lot of flavour. tderoeck (9744) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2012

Clear blond to golden beer, small white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: ripe banana, pretty sweet, bit spicy, sweet malts. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: some green banana, citrus, pretty grassy, bit of spices. Aftertaste: some grains, bitter hops, sweet malts, sour touch, hint of spices.
Bottled. Pours pale golden in color with a creamy white head. Wheat, some banana and light notes of forrest in aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet wheat with some banana. Surprisingly tasty for a leichte. Refreshing. SinH4 (4798) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2016
Bottle. Hazy golden-orange color with creamy white head. Aroma is citrus, a bit dusty yeasts, bananas, wheat, a bit sweet. Taste is tart, a bit sweet, more bananas and wheat. Some of these low-abv grains noticeable as well. Smooth mouthfeel, but also a more crisp carbonation. Refreshing and very good. Thirst quencher and a really good Leichte Weisse. sjogro (4183) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2017
Bottle shared at home. Hazy golden amber. Sweet malts, grain, banana yeast. Light sweet and bitter. Medium body, creamy and malty feel but also a bit watery. Nice for the light abv.
