First impression before tasting... great looking beer after being poured into a Weizen... HUGE, textured, long-lasting white head with a yellowy-golden, cloudy body. Big yeasty aroma and full herbal/yeast taste with a nice citrus overtone.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2008 Thick rich head poured into a weizen glass. Yeast flavored with pleasant floral and light breezy herbal tones. Chewy full texture. Great weissbeer with a salmon and salad. Very snappy and more refreshing than a Schneider Weiss for me. This is a great beer with a wide variety of foods and among the finest German Hefeweizens I’ve sampled. Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Heyford Hill, Oxford, 21-09-07 Really nice cloudy wheat beer with great aroma of banana, clove yeast. Tasted clovey, bananaey, wheaty, yeasty and some lovely citrus, in fact packed with flavour, just what I would expect in this type of beer if done well. I’m not a fan of this style but I think I can appreciate a good one and this for me was very good. mhot55 (99) - USA - SEP 9, 2007
One of the better wheat beers. Good citrusy (lemony) taste along with the sweet taste. decent carbonation. creamy yet dry. A little more complex than other wheats. had a little bit of off aftertaste- like rubber that took away from the initial great taste.
**** 9/1/07 Have had again and rubbery taste was gone. must’ve been bad batch. great wheat. holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 4, 2007
500 ml bottle from Sam’s Wine and Spirits. Poured in the traditional method, spinning the bottle and tossing in the last of the yeast. Cloudy yellow banana clove yeast right off the nose. Decent mouthfeel bananas, lemon, wheat. .. although nothing that sets it apart from the many others not that different. .. balanced tasty and refreshing.

Vastly underrated weiss - yeasty, cloudy, and just the right touch of that Bavarian clove style spice. Very balanced, very clean hefty foam and everything you want in a Bavarian weiss. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 Great Hefe. Pours a nice ornage golden color with a big white fluffy head. The head dissapates quickly into a soapy top. Smells sour and wheaty. Tastes like fresh bread with a bit of meat? Either way really good. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 28, 2007
16.9 oz bottle. Foggy olive orange with a white meringue head. Wet lace. Dough, candied lemon peel and green banana. Tangy carb with a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. Almost like they added some banana puree. Taste echoes the nose with cloves. Ends a little sour and wheaty. WeeHeavySD (3400) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 28, 2007
Draft @ Marlow and Son’s in Brooklyn. Pours orange with a thin bright white head. The nose is fresh and wheaty. The taste is sweet and wheaty, its a nice hef.
