COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Pale orange color, with a thick creamy frothy white head that lasted for a long time. This had the wheat taste that I look for in Hefes. This beer also had some cloudiness to it but not much, very good.

Very nice color to this one, almost seemed orange to me. Good aroma as well. As one non-beer drinking friend put it, "It tastes like the inside of a barn." This was very true as the wheat taste came out wonderfully.

Extremely tasty classic wheat beer with huge aromatic foam, pleasant cloudiness, golden straw color and unbelievable taste of wheat. Interesting fruity notes.

As far as I'm concerned, this one sets the standard for a German Hefe Weissen...even better then Paulaner. Somewhat sweet, light body with a nice head. No lemon, please.

Cloves, bubblegum, and bananas in the aroma. Substantial head, very cloudy. Flavor balance is slightly sweet, but very close to even. Light graininess/wheat. Soem fruity/bubblegum esters. Very high carbonation, light body. A very good German wheat beer.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2003 Very similar to Paulaner with a slightly lighter wheat taste (which is still strong) and a beautiful finish. It provides an excellent example of how a wheat beer should taste in every respect.

Wonderful. Yeasty scent and taste. Seems strongeer than the typical heffeweisse.

Excellent wheat. Nice, thick pour with an everpresent pure white head with heavy lacing. Yeasty aroma of bananas and flowers. Detect bananas in the flavor as well with a bit of bubblegum in the aftertaste. Nice light orange cloudy appearance. Very refreshing - could envision quaffing down several of these at the beach. Probably on of the best Wheats I have had yet.

Hazey golden color, huge white head. Yeast aroma. Flavor is very sweet with yeast and wheat flavors.
