COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Best rating for this beer ! --- It's the best Weizen ! --- Some Banana and cinnamon in the aftertaste, and I still ask myself how you can extract this taste out of cereals... Bravo Brewmaster !

Really smooth with the bite I like from a wheat brew. Brewing since 1040 they should know their stuff.

Not bad for a wheat, but there are som many other better ones out there. Good, but nothing distinctive to me.

Cloudy copper bronze color. Huge head. Wheaty floral smell. Creamy pillowy head. Micro bubble lace work. Brown bread and graham cracker start turns mildly carmel/fruit flavored with malty tones. Clove or spicy finish.

I may have gotten a bad bottle because I didn't have anything like what most are describing. Mine was very sharp aand grainy in the mouth and made you want a glass of water when you were done. Will try again and re-rate.

Most adherant to its style. That could be because they invented it. The quintessential German wheat beer with all the great characteristics: Banana and clove aroma, slightly cloudy amber body, and a citrusy finish. Bavarian's are bred on this stuff, and I therefore envy them.

Another tasty German wheat beer. Retains its head all the way down the glass. Crisp and refreshing.
