Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

12 oz. bottle to weizen glass, and this beer is precisely why I went to the trouble to get a weizen. Pours cloudy gold with huge white head. Aromas of bread and cloves. Taste is a complex--cloves, banana, citrus with a bread yeast. Not too sweet, balanced right. Finish is also complex, but very pleasant and says "more please." This beer even has a lingering aftertaste that is good. Palate is slightly creamy, but nothing chewy about it. Good brew!

Not my favorite style of beer, but very well done! Thick creamy head, light body, refreshing.

@ Beerlovers Bar Mild banana yeast in aroma. Esters. Typical but mild. Nice fizzy mouthfeel. Thirst quenching. Yeast. Fruity aftertaste.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2018 From bottle, pours with solid head in perfect style. Banana flavor comes up strong and body is perfectly balanced. Good strong finish. Thumbs up!

Pours a beautiful hazy gold, with a very large and long lasting frothy head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of banana, citrus, yeast, wheat, clove, bubblegum. Tastes of banana, with a bit of spice, and a very dry yeasty finish. The body is very thick and the palate is excellent. Truly a world class beer, I've had this one before and I am very happy to say that it is as good as i remember it.

A surprise find at l'Apero, the Belgian beer outlet near Nanjing Fuxing. Aroma: yeasty. Appearance: fully opaque orange amber, 5mm. head. Palate: medium-bodied, sticky, rather thick. Soft carbonation, complex, flavoursome finish. Taste: medium-sweet and bitter, well balanced. Tons of banana, some spice, a pleasure to drink.

Quite overpowering banana taste. Cloves also much more present than expected. Too spicy to be refreshing. Does not combine well with fish as suggested.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 Una cerveza que representa perfectamente el estilo Hefe-Weizen, muy balanceada e integrada

Pours hazy golden yellow with a puffy white head. Strong aroma of overripen banana, yeasts and cloves, but I get some dry Spumante nose too. Taste reflects pretty much the nose, sweet but not too much, banana is even stronger and very long lasting in the mouth. Dry sweet aftertaste. Good mouthfeel, medium to full body, not too fizzy, good carbonation. Refreshing and super drinkable. Not my favourite style, but this is very, very good.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2018 Une teinte jaune pâle, trouble, avec une mousse aérée. Un arôme très typique de ce type de bière.

Beergasm. This beer is the very beer that made me love to drink beer again.
