Flavour is smooth chocolate flavoured malty with a slight note of dried fruit and a mild woody note. The barley notes keep lingering into the far finish and provide some warmth with the alcohol. Mahogany with brief beige head. Neutral nose. Sweet and malty with syrupy mouthfeel and loads of cramell and toffee in the finish. A solid and warming bock, but not one that offers that little extra.
