3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour from a 500ml bottle, very lively carbonation right out of the bottle big big foamy head. Straw light yellow, aroma is wheaty, banana, doughy. Light smooth taste, with a sweet/sour finish. Not a bad light looking/tasting beer, it has character, a fish dish would be interesting pairing.
28-06-17 // 500ml bottle. Clear golden beer with a great white head. Taste is crystal clear, mild greany, light banana, some citrus flavours. Well carbonated. drmet (964) - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, GERMANY - JUL 12, 2017
-pours a clear straw golden with a medium to big, foamy, white head
-medium to high carbonation visible
-light to medium body
A pretty big downgrade from their Hefeweizen.
The finish is really weird.Up until then it’s decent.
The Kristallweizen from Paulaner, Franziskaner or Maisel are superior to this. Mishnok (301) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2017
Really good looking beer. Nice to have a crystal clear beer with nice carbonation and frothy head. Typical wheat beer taste with malty banana yeasts. I think I like this a little better than the regular hefe weissbier

Bottle. Clear golden ale with tall frothy head. The aroma is rich banana, spicy yeast & grains. Medium body. Average carbo. Light sweet banana flavour. Spicy yeast along. Floral hops on the edge of recognition. A nice example of the style. gripweed57 (2444) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUN 22, 2017
500 ml bottle. Brilliant brassy gold color. Medium sized creamy white head. Wheat malt nose has notes of sweet banana, cloves and Monkberry moon delight. Sweet wheat malt flavor is tangy and yeasty with lemony notes. Quite good and very Bavarian.

Our first Kristallweizen and it’s a good one! It pours a classic crystal clear yellow with a thin medium head, the aroma is a strong banana wheat tornado and the taste follows close in line. It lives up to the rep as a filtered clear hefeweizen, but it doesn’t lose too much flavor (as apparently is a problem with many others of this type). If you wanna try a Kristallweizen, get this one! Super weird that its evidently from the oldest brewery ever circa 1040? Good for listening to the Best Show in the kitchen while digesting some ’za and watching the dishes get washed behind a black door with your boo boo. jookos (6762) - FINLAND - MAY 27, 2017
bottle (alko, probably- has been sitting on my shelf a while now). golden, clear. nice weiheny spicy clovy phenolic, sweet banana estery nose. malted wheaty sweet, bit thin all though. med bodied, nice soft malted cereals sweet, filling fresh feeling. the softest, roundest, nicest malted wheat in flavour, pillowy, with a bit of that weihen hefe- yeasty spices. excellent flavour. tad dissapointed in the intensity though, guess a lot that i love about weihenstephans weisse gets trapped when filtering. Bottle. Clear golden beer, large creamy white head, decent lacing. Aroma of wheat, spices, clove, banana. Taste is light sweet: banana, clove, spices, some bread. Light+ body, average to lively carbonation, thin texture. Quite refreshing example of useless style. g_georgiou (571) - CYPRUS - MAY 14, 2017
Clear yellow body with a large white head. Aroma is sweet fruit, banana mostly. Taste is sweet and very low bitter. Watery texture, soft carbonation, light body.
