COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good beer takes its time. The long storage makes our yellow bright lager, “Original”, a flavourful beer enjoyed with fine pored, white foam. With a mild hoppy note and its pleasant fresh spicy taste, it goes very well with salads, poultry, stews or with a hearty snack. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Not much to this beer. Pours a golden yellow color with a small bubbly head. Smells sour and like corn. Tastes like honey and corn. Just ok... nothing exciting.

Not much of a nose on this critter just some grassy hints. But boy does it gleam in the glass. Light malt sweetness upfront followed by a medium length body that flows nicely to the easy finsish. This could have been an all day drinker but a lack of vision caused me to only pruchase one. Methinks a trip to Bavaria may be in order in the next year or so. Bert....that means you.

Bottle, a light gold with plenty of carbonation but no head. The aroma is all grassy hops and grainy malt. A very dry palate, but clean. The grainy malt flavour comes through more and more through the swallow. Not my type of drop, but it is clean.

Bottle. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of hay, sweet malt and floral hops. Flavour started sweet with some lemon before a long, bitter finish. Good.

From bottle poured slightly hazy light amber color with a fair amount of head. Very weak water taste, with not much of a finish.

RedCloud (129) - Rhode Island, USA - JUL 27, 2007
Smells of honey, hay, and oats. Pours a cloudy yellow with a green hue. Nice head that falls fast. tastes of bitter lime peel and honey. Doesn’t seem to have any body too it. The finish fades quickly but the honey lingers a bit. Very watery.
