COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good beer takes its time. The long storage makes our yellow bright lager, Original, a flavourful beer enjoyed with fine pored, white foam. With a mild hoppy note and its pleasant fresh spicy taste, it goes very well with salads, poultry, stews or with a hearty snack. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Almost clear light yellow-gold. Good-sized, very persistent and sticky white head, with lots of lacing. Aromas are surprisingly low-toned, with toast, ripe fruit, and spice. Carbonation is high but exquisitely fine, lending a more substantial mouthfeel to this otherwise light-bodied brew. Flavors are light and more restrained than the nose, leaning towards the sweet side of the spectrum. Outstanding - however, the sweetness means this is not the best option for a refreshing, quaffing lager.

Bottle. Pale golden color. White bubbly head with little to no aroma. Mild sweet beer flavor with lingering tart malt aftertaste. I drank it ice cold and it quenched my thirst. Not bad. Id drink it again it it was free.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts, corn and citrus. The flavor is weak citrus, sweet malts, with a thin palate. Not their best brew by far, but rather inoffensive.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2006 Attractive golden color with a medium head. Prominant citrus aroma. Great character with a very smooth finish. Quite refreshing. They have had awhile to get this right. Since 1040.

Pours a golden color, light head, light aroma. Flavor isnt too heavy either. Nothing too special about this brew, but I wouldnt mind buying again. I would like this as a nice kicking back beer.

if you need to drink many beers in one sitting, this is your man. it is light, but has a nice grassy smell and a mild but plesant finish. definately not coors light, but you could drink this one out on the lake. or at a nascar event if they only allowed bottles...
