0,5 l NRW-Flasche aus der Brauerei in Weihenstephan. Dunkelbraun, rostrote Farbe, kleiner Schaumfilm. Riecht nach Karamell, Kaffee, Schokolade. Im Geschmack das gleiche, gefolgt von einer angenehmen Herbe kapusil (1507) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 9, 2015
0.5l bottle. Deep ruby body, thin white head. Aroma of reisins, toast, roasted malts and brown sugar. Taste of reisins, caramel, toast and floral hops. I really like it. JaKeAFC (1284) - ITALY - SEP 4, 2015
On tap at the braustuberl. Mahogany reddish-brown color, big creamy offwhite head, smell of toasted malts, lacing, carbonated. Arma of toasted malts, black bread, biscuits, some spices & herbs. Nice valanced taste, clena refined dry finish. Similar to HB one. BenOver (329) - SLOVENIA - AUG 17, 2015
Poirs brownzdark with a massive head. Aroma is yeasty with a hint of sweet notes. Very nicely drinkable, excellent amount of carbonation, sweet quickly diminishing aftertaste. A very nice beer Cristobal37 (1240) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 18, 2015
A nice crisp dunkel. Pretty quick finish. Light bodied slightly creamy. Toasted malts and caramel. Really nothing exceptional.

A 500ml bottle with a best before date of 2nd July 2015, bought in Bangkok, Thailand, carried back to Hong Kong and poured into a Duvel tulip glass. The beer poured a deep dark copper/amber brown with a slightly off white two finger head that dissipates over about a minute leaving some nice lacing. Light aromas of sweet and roasted malts, brown sugar and overripe plums. Tastewise, some bready roasted malts, dark fruits especially plum and also a hint of chocolate and caramel. As it warms, more grape and bubblegum appears in the flavour. Light bodied, light carbonation and smooth but seems a bit thin (watery). This went down easy but perhaps a tad bit ‘watery’. I prefer their Hefeweissbier Dunkel more. inbirraveritas (1612) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 19, 2015
Bottled, 0.5 l.
Clear reddish dark brown one with a fluffy beige head on its top.
Mild malty nose.
Tasteing starts crisp followed by mild sweet caramel and brown bread, texture is somewhat thin.
Dry, toasty-herbal finish.
Correct Dunkel brew. Lore (2904) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 11, 2015
clear brown colour, 1.5 inches of beige-ish head; aroma of toast, some ash, herbal and dark fruity notes; taste of malty sweetness with slight roasted bitterness, hints of spicy and fruity notes; really good dunkel Teran (331) - Belgrade, SERBIA - JUN 8, 2015
Watery Dunkel, easy to drink. Clear copper, big tan top. Aroma schwarzbrot. Prety much installing a new style among Dunkels.
Average carbonation, on the nose little bit artificial and metallic, but not in the taste. It could be difficult to find a big fan population for this kind of beer, because it is something new and modern, But it is still somehow well balanced beer. donniemillan (102) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2015
It pours brown red, medium head (or low for a Weihenstephaner), mild sweet roast aroma. The taste reminds me of a black beer, not as sweet as other dunkels I’ve had, very easy to drink.
