I've looked for a favorite beer and feel I have finally found it. Grate taste and a decent price for an import.

bottle from Alko. medium, dry head head. a bit of Cracker Jack and toffee on the nose. at first sip, an almost sweet nutty flavor with a malty aftertaste. a bit of bitterness at the end that sticks around maybe a little longer than i’d like. an almost imperceptible hop flavor epassa (105) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - JUN 5, 2007

500 ml bottle in Germany. Deep dark amber color. Clear. Medium lasting creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate and malt. Flavor is smooth. Slightly roasty and with notes of caramel/chocolate. Has a very soft, light-bitter aftertaste. A very fine dunkel. crossovert (14233) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Half liter @ Weihenstephaner. This one is an amazing dunkel. It is sweet and malty, but not too much, the hops save it and it turns into an easy-drinker.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2017 My Bottom Line:
Long Munich maltiness is endowed with toasted accents in this beautifully aromatic and drinkable Dunkel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam laces atop the dark brown shine.
-Mouthfeel is lean and bubbly, yet all malt flavors are given plenty of room to take over the palate.
-Hops offer but a mild bitterness, never taking room away from the malt showcase.
-A mild fruitiness adds raisins and cherries to the profile.
-The flavor profile is as polished as all other Weihenstephaner brews.
