Red-brown color, light caramel malty aroma and taste, medium body, light dry finish. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2005
Clear brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of malt and hop. Bit sweet malty and bitter taste. I expected more from this dunkel. It’s just mediocre. detroitsteel (235) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2007
Bottle at the Hitchin Beer Festival. A dark caramel brown, with a decent head. Lots of malt and toffee in the nose. The flavour has loads of malt sweetness - tasted like liquid Shreddies breakfast cereal. Suprisingly light bodied and easy to drink, but doesn’t really offer very much. sinkas (293) - Perth/Fremantle, AUSTRALIA - NOV 21, 2007
dark malty caramel nose, similar body with a slightly crystal malt twang,

Bottle (500ml). Poured mahogany with a decent sized; rocky, off-white head which was average lasting. Aroma had strong notes of black currents and tart blackberries with some sweet toffee malts hiding beneath as well as some cranberries somewhere in the mix. Flavor was a light bitterness with sweet toffee malts, sultana’s, blackberries and a dry nutty finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation, a quite watery texture and a ok finish.

I should learn to read first (;-) I bought it as wheat beer so I am bit confused now. Not bad dark lager but it is not my favorite style. bmeup (679) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - NOV 7, 2010

Amber, rusty color. Very large bubbles in white head. Smells like an amber as well. Watery taste, weak, light body.
