Dal colore giallo torbido, versa un'abbondante schiuma. Aroma di frumento e banana. Sapore con accentuate note di banana, consistenza corposa. Retrogusto dolce. Nel complesso una buona birra CraftyHare (149) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - MAR 10, 2018
500ml bottle pours pale orange with foamy white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus hops, apple and yeast. Tastes of banana bread, candy sugar, yeast, spices and plenty of wheat. Creamy mouthfeel with long balanced finish. Fantastic white beer. pippomix (42) - ITALY - MAR 2, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2018 Birra weiss spettacolare!

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2018 Dense and high formation foam. Banana and carnation in a powerful smell. In mouth, it is a beer full of personality, with banana and carnations notes as well, medium bitterness at the end of the sip and a dry aftertaste of malt.
A beer that honours its name and, mostly, its style. phfds (30) - - FEB 23, 2018

My thoughts about this tend to alter the further into the bottle I go. Initially, the intense aroma and taste of banana and cloves is welcoming but it can become a bit cloying when you get towards the end. If you like your beers fruity, this is great but I have quite a low tolerance for them.

A very good beer in the same category as the Aventinus. Great quality, great aroma. A must try. That was part of my LCBO Fall 2017 Program. Took it yesterday as a volleyball pre-game warmer. istephen (9) - St. Catharines, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2018 does not count
Quite disappointing. I bought this TONIGHT at an LCBO (Niagara Falls, ON). It was discounted, so I knew that I should drink it soon (and have a second bottle). I thought the initial aroma was a little off. While drinking it, it seemed like a pretty full-bodied weizenbier (maybe a bit more intense than usual). But the real problem was the long-lingering, rather nasty cardboard flavour, a sign of oxidation and staleness. It is a style which is best drunk while fresh, but the "best before" date on the back is 04/11/2018 (Apr. 11, 2018, I think). (I'd suggesting moving toward a clearer date, i.e. Apr. 11, 2018 if it can be managed in international markets). My initial thought was that the LCBO was to blame (they often are due to their poor management of beer inventory), but I note that the second bottle has at least an inch of ullage.
