COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our light-coloured, spicy single-bock, “Vitus” is saturated with fine yeast and a creamy foam. It is a specialty with a round character based on the extra long storage time. The fruity smell of dried apricots joins aromas of citrus, cloves and hints of banana. Full-bodied and sparkling with an effervescent mouthfeel. Thus, the Vitus does not taste like a typical Bock beer but more like a noble, fruity wheat beer. Perfect with red meat, strong cheese and also able to guide desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Nearly clear pale yellow. Huge fluffy head. Aroma of over ripe bananas, wheat, yeast. Tingly carbonation, close to full bodied, heavy clove and coriander spice palate. Nice sweet wheat creaminess. Warm alcohol and grassy hops on the finish.

Light hazy golden with white head. Aroma is honey, candy sugar. Taste is candy. Very sweet, slight bitterness. Full body. Drinkable but too sweet for me.

Description here is quite accurate - definitely getting lots of banana and apricot with just a little hint of clove and spice, lending a warm finish. Some honey and toasted wheat in there. Even smells a bit smoky. Quite bubbly. Could stand to be just a touch less sweet, but overall very well-rounded and tasty.

A absolutely great German beer! A beautifully done Weizenbock. A Hefeweizen times two. Same rich clove, bubblegum nuances. Can't go wrong with this bier. Prost! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,5l Bottle. Pours hazy yellow color with mediumish head. Flavor is heavy on bananas and sweet malts, added with some spices, alcohol, citrusy fruitness. Very well balanced overall, medium to think body, spicy alcoholy aftertaste that lasts for a while.

Aroma a cítricos, pan, plátano, muchas especias, levadura. Invita a meter la nariz en el líquido. En boca hay cítricos, mucho pan, plátano, especias. Buen balance entre dulzor y acidez. Ligerísimo amargor final acompañado de especias. Riquísimo postgusto especiado y fresco.

Bottle from Macon Beverage Outlet. Hazy yellow with white head and plenty of carbonation. Banana and citrus nose, and sweet tart malty taste that lingers. Soft palate from the carbonation. A little sweet but very sophisticated.

Fles.

On tap at Weihenstephaner, Hackescher Markt, Berlin. Pours cloudy yellow with a foamy, lasting, white head. The aroma contains wheat, yeast, overripe fruits, clove and spices. It tastes light to medium sweet and medium spicy bitter. Alcoholic finish, fizzy carbonation, creamy texture. I prefer the regular Hefeweißbier.
