50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall&Gall, Culemborg. Clear pale golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with some hops. Taste is nicely bitter and crisp. Not spectacular in any way but really well made elegant beer. Gains a lot more depth when it warms slightly in the glass

From Labirratorium. In Bavaria glassm Reading JHTP11 Ch24 + Playing Blackwell Epiphany. Was gonna rate it lower because it feels a bit watery and metallic but in the end i finished liking it crushable nature

(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops and bread dough, quite yeasty, with a subtle hint of black pepper, some iron, apricot syrup and straw. flavour is mostly fresh pale malts and caramel, slightly starchy, with some more light stone fruit and a touch of almonds in the chewy finish. full-bodied with average carbonation. surprisingly great!

500ml bottle (BB 27th Oct 17) from Beers of Europe, shared with my son on 11th Dec 16. Looking at my notes and then reading my rating for the normal Weihenstephaner Festbier, this may well just be a re-badge because it’s the same ABV and looked, tasted and smelled the same. Liked it. If they have added something in the brewing to make this a different beer, then I have missed it.
