pivnizub (10461) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 6, 2017
Bottle (Systembolaget Garching): Golden, clear, mid-sized loose and slowly collapsing white head; mild to moderate sweetish-grainy nose with a touch of honey, a small amount of herbal hops; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering, smooth sweet-bitter finish. Nothing wrong with it, just a quite tame Märzen...

RW80 (2423) - Hoogeveen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2017
50 cl. bottle. Appearance: A clear pale golden with a nice white head. Head has a good retention and leaves some lacing. Aroma: Foral, spicy hops, grains, a hint of honey. Taste: Is bitter and quite crips, grains, spicy hops a light floral tone and a hint of honey. medium body, average carbonation. Well what can we say, its a Marzen well refined but a bit too much stuck in it’s style to be really great.

Ritzn (1173) - GERMANY - FEB 2, 2017
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is dusty and herbal hops, stinging nettle, fresh but too botanic. Taste is some malty sweetness but mostly hoppy tartness, with some alcohol. Buttery and more stinging nettle on the tongue. Not smooth, dusty in the finish. Nah.

thanatosti (1623) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2017
50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall&Gall, Culemborg. Clear pale golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with some hops. Taste is nicely bitter and crisp. Not spectacular in any way but really well made elegant beer. Gains a lot more depth when it warms slightly in the glass
