Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy bready malt, hay, grassy, notes of floral-ish hops with some fruity notes. Light to moderate sweet flavour with a very decent hoppy bitter finish. Body is medium. Smooth and refreshing Keller, good one.

My Bottom Line:
Chewy wet bread notes deliver a pleasant everyday quencher, thriving in a well rounded body with discreet starfruit and herbal hops in the finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam fizzes away into the hazy blond.
-This is a tad underhopped for the style.
-Mouthfeel is far from crisp; this is closer to a Czech Kvasnicovy, to give you an idea.
-The finish lacks bread ‘crustiness’ and hop bitterness.
-Drinkability is pretty high, which is to be expected.

Bottle from Hopfen & Malz - quite clear dark brown color (for a Keller). Taste is quite flat, moderately malty, grass. No bitter or dry Pils feelings. Well made but underwhelming somehow...

Bottle MHD/Best before: 30.06.2016 The ’best before’ date indicates that it’s made durable by heating it. So it’s not a genuine Kellerbeer. The beer has a fine foam in the beginning that goes down quick. Leftovers of foam are staying till you drink it up, but you can’t reproduce more foam by swinging the glass. Aroma smells of mash (you can imagine the warm mash smell in front of the brewery) and not of hops. Appearance is nice: It’s slightly muddy. Fine for an unfiltered beer. The taste is too sweet for a Pilsener and not enough bitter. The taste of mash is a bit too insistent. It’s a full bodied beer with soft carbonation and a disappointing finish. Conclusion: Too much sweet malt and not enough hops. The awarded normal Kellerbier of the same brewery is much better!
