Golden, mid-sized lacy head; dryish grassy nose with a grainy backgroung and - fortunately - traces of honey; mild to moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and pretty soft and not that tart; bitter and slightly pale-malty-honeyish finish. No aroma, but all kn all a well drinkable drop…

Milder herber Beginn, der zuerst noch süßlich weich, dann aber bitterer und insgesamt wässrig wird. Kaum würzig, ebenso wenig hopfig. Nicht besonders. 8/9/7/6//7

Draught @ Luise, Weimar. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with some malty touches. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with notes of hops. Mild, slightly bitter and estery aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Quite clean and easily drinkable but nothing really special.

On tap (0.25 l) at Residenz-Cafe, Weimar... Light golden color, average head... Very herb Pilsener hop aroma... Typicall German Pilsener taste... Herb ending...

At a cafe on the main square in Weimar. Clear, clean pils with a grassy edge. A bit underhopped - aren’t they all? - but a good quaffing beer.

At the Restaurant Bratwurstglöck’l, Weimar (thanks Plavec!). Yellow-golden shiny body, lively carbonation. Soft malty grainy nose, very light dust. Nice actually. Soft grainy maltiness, light nice lemony hop, again some acidity. Again the taste feels just a bit too subdued but it should be nice fresher than this.
