COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bazooko Circus - 4.3% Dark Fruit Cream Ale This beer was brewed especially for London Craft Beer Festival 2017 at the National Centre of Circus Arts. It's a playful mix of tart berries and cocoa. First up you get black forest gateau, then citrus and pithy grapefruit notes bounce around your taste buds. The sweet, juicy tang - think fruit winders - takes centre-stage with every sip. And just like fruit winders, the enjoyment of this beer grows as the flavours unravel.

Bottled 330ml (BGonzo)
Opaque colour, beige head and lace. Aroma is a bit farmhousy, berryish, cocoa. Light-bodied. Berries, yes black berries, some toasted notes and light tart citrus. Interesting flavour, aroma is more meh. Ok.

December 2017 - Tasting in Hackney. Bottle shared with big thanks to the angriest Swiss I know. As 'Weird Beard Bazooko Circus'. Dark brown with an orange hue, foamy off-white head. Aroma is bourbon biscuit, muted earthy notes. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugary, tangy redcurrant, quite sweet and tangy-fruity, not much bitterness but does dry out into the finish. Not sure it's what was intended but I guess it's OK. (5-4-4-4-12=2.9)

12Dec2017 Toasted, dark malts, bitter, dark berries. Hazy, very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More sour, dark fruits, bitter grain malts, dark malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Not bad for the style. Bottle shared at Leighton's - sourced from the brewery, Hanwell.

Cask @ LCBF 2017. Pours a dark amber ruby brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity berry creamy aroma. Fruity malty berry caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty berry creamy caramel finish.

Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2017
Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Tipple. Pours unclear brown with a creamy topping. The nose has toasted bread, hints of berries. Light to medium sweet flavour with leathery fruits, cherry, brown bread, a touch of tang. Light bodied with average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, a little nondescript, more toasty malts, lightly tangy berries. Interesting.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2017 Bottle thanks to Mr Angry. It pours cloudy dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, musty, creamy, wood, leather, earthy, coffee grounds, wood bark and berry. The taste is smooth, toasty, earthy, tangy berry skin, tangy, cherryade, creamy vibes, cream soda, mild acidity, wood, bark and tangy green apple with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Weird, but not bad.

Bottle at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a deep red colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, cherry, some red grape, slight chocolate and subtle woodiness. Taste of red fruits, dark fruits, sour cherry, some red grape, slight woodiness and subtle chocolate. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A short, dry, slightly sour, red fruit finish. A nice flavour and very fruity. A little dry but with a short, forgettable finish. Ok.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is light and dry and has a decent minerally crispness. Thin malts, quite tangy and with a modest earthy chocolate. Just a trace of creamy sweetness. Tangy berry fruits before a dry finish. It's quite thin and dry and I like the concept but it's not working that well.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Aroma of berries and dark fruit. Tastes similar, berries, dark fruit, slightly sour. Not my thing, Weird Beard can do so much better.
