All that I can say is just "WOW"!!! Absolutely gorgeous and wonderful! Served in a snifter from a bottle. Pours almost black with a little beige head. The aroma is just an amazing mixture of roasted coffee, caramel, roasted malts and a pinch of hops. The taste is a great combination of coffee, burnt sugar and raisins. The mouthfeel is rich and full bodied, smooth with a wonderful slight bitter aftertaste. Absolutely fantastic!!! mkel07 (5993) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 4, 2014
Bottle from Wine Emporium 041114. This beer has got it all going on - coffee, chocolate, malt. Looks great and tastes greater. Black with coffee coloured foam and a sweet sweet finish. KennethArd (570) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2017
Be aware! This beer is much more quicker & dangerous than the pirate ship. It will attack you right away you open the bottle. Fortunately only 3,8% ABV. Totally black with a very, very large brown head. Aromas of coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate & milk chocolate. Medium sweet, light bitter and a medium dry finish. Light body, creamy texture & lively carbonation. esenwu (13) - Łódź, POLAND - JAN 10, 2015
Strong coffee aroma, more intensive than milkstout smell. Dry and more bitter than sweet. Very drinkable and good balanced. zacgillbanks (5185) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A dark brown-black beer with a powerful floral, fruity coffee flavour, milk chocolate notes and a bitter roasted finish. A superb beer, even better considering its below 4% ABV.

Taste are reasonable to robust coffee and roasted/burnt makt bitter, moderately sweetness, vanilla, milk chocolate, smooth and soft in texture, something sharp, long coffee and roasted aftertaste, reasonable body. low carbonation, .... you have to appreciate strong coffee brews, otherwise this isn’t your beer....occasionally you’ll find one that is outstanding... and that’s this one.... nice tastefull beer with limited alcohol... 6bottlepack (422) - Devon, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2016
Bottle from Hops & Crafts Exeter, pours black with a foamy beige head. Aroma of fresh coffee, some roasted malt & fruit notes. Taste coffee up front with dark malts ,roast, dark chocolate ,lactose & so,e fruit, light bodied ,smooth & slightly chewy, perfectly carbonated ,good mouth feel ,the finish is dry, roasty , & creamy ,not as sweet as expected for a milk stout ,which is good in my opinion . Really well made low strength stout that tastes bigger than its strength ! ladnewton (1964) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2013
Cask at CBI, London on 28th April 2013. Solid black with thin tan film and pattern lace. Coffee and cocoa aroma. Rich coffee, spice and chocolate in-mouth. Rather sweeter aftertaste with berries and tanginess yet coffee returns late. Excellent. Smooth mouthfeel and fair body. Erzengel (8768) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 8, 2014
Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing. Batch No 0035. Bottled on Oct-13. Best before Oct-14
Dark in the glass with and intense malty-dry nose. The beer starts very intense: Roasted and coffee. The mainpart is very dry, even a bit dusty. Highly roasted with lots of coffee. The aftertaste is long, intense. Viscous, coffee, hints of sourness.
A very great beer - especially for the 3.7% extremely flavourful! --> 13/12/13/13
