Bottle at home. Clear amber in colour. Sour cherry notes. A great balance of fruit tart and hop bitter. Quite enjoyable.

simontomlinson (627) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2017
Thin off white head left a cover on a translucent, lightly carbonated, reddish brown body.
Dark berry aroma with some floral hints.
Medium bodied, smooth, minimal carbonation & very soft on the palate.
I've no idea what a chokeberry is but this beer is much as the aroma.
Dark berries, sweet citrus, sugar, tropical fruits, grape & apple flavours with a long fruity finish

330 ml bottle from Kill The Cat, Brick Lane, London, UK. It pours clear amber, with a medium, not lasting, white head. Aroma is berries, cherry, spices, pine, grass. Notes of malts. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, carbonation is fine. Overall not bad.

Tap as * Weird Beard Safeword IPA *
Pours clear , bit darker blonde. Nearly no head. Smell is mildly tart fruityness. Taste is fruity, starts of a tiny bit tart ( I expected more tartness, actualy ) than turns over in a really nice fruity, bit sweet, creamy taste. aftertaste is fruity, mildly bitter. very nice beer !

Bottle from St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A hazy orange coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Lovely aroma of tropical fruits and berries on the nose. Tastes hoppy, tropical fruit, berry fruit, some grapefruit, sweet & bitter. Really nice IPA and so different from the others.

AWS9 (746) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 24, 2017
Bottle. Plenty of chokeberry goodness... uh, well I kinda get some acai, passionfruit, and mango. Sharp citrus and fruit balance the extra alcohol quite nicely actually. Interesting one. Not sure if you could have more than one, but solid.

Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Bottled 27/04/2017. Hazy orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is dull plant, stale pepper, sweet bread. Nose is dull oily, bitter cardboard, plant, almost biiter vegetable / weeds,... Body is sweetish caramel, bit dull. Expected more from Weird Beard, didn’t quite fully work.

Cask - The Antelope (Surbiton) Beer Festival in June 2017 - Cloudy orangey gold in colour. No head. Bitter citrus and tropical fruity, orange, grapefruit, tart berries (presumably chokeberry). Good hop bitterness, piney hops. Quite spicy; peppery. Sweet malts. Sweet-bitter citrus fruity and piney hoppy throughout. Good depth of flavour. More bitter fruity into a drying finish. Very drinkable. (2017-06)

downender (8928) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle at Dodo, Hanwell 19/5/2017. Hazy orange in colour, with a billowy, white, head. Massive aroma of orange fruits, blueberry sweetness, white pepper and grassy hops. Flavour ha plenty more fruit, some crisp malts and a hint of spice, before a long, dry finish. Excellent.
