Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweet and lightly toasty with notes of coconu, peanut butter, cocoa butter, vanilla. Taste is also medium sweet with more vanilla, cocoa butter and coconut. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nice ine
Bottle from the brewery, pours black with a tight tan foam and aromas of old wine, milk chocolate, coconut, ash and dandelion root. Palate is smooth and creamy, turning burnt-bitter and ashy, all overlaid with light coconut, sweet black treacle, touches of chocolate and tobacco leaf, bitter liquorice emerging in the finish. weordie (1468) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2017
Pours black with a huge fluffy cocoa head. Aroma is like a real coconut, not over the top strong coconut you get with some but a subtle coconut aroma. A little hint of coconut in the flavour, an almost burnt wood flavour, roasted malts and then a coconut aftertaste. It’s nice but not outstanding. Opaque dark brown beer, fluffy tan head. Palate is airy and a little dry, decent carbonation. Thin but smooth dark malts, dry and with a trace of bitter roast. Touches of bitterish dark chocolate and coffee. The coconut is not that sweet, comes over as more like coconut milk. Bitterish finish. Not bad but for me wasn’t sweet enough.
Keg at CBC Covborn, 10/03/17.
Extremely dark mahogany brown verging on black with a decent tan head.
Nose is dark chocolate flakes, light spice, charr, roast, coconut shavings.
Taste comprises Bounty Bar, chocolate, toffee fudge, mellow roast, light black pepper to balance.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Solid flavoursome coconut fuelled stout.

, Streatham, London - Black pour with tan head and lacing. Roasted and sweet malty with a prominent combo of rich opulent chocolate and coconut, some caramel and chocolate sweetness, hoppy backing, kokos flødeboller, nice vanilla caress into the close. Gorgeous.
Intense coconut, chocolate, dark fruits. Very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Medium bitter. More bitter chocolate, cacao, coconut, soft carbonation, full bodied, more dry coconut in the finish. Very nice Stout, good coconut in aroma, refreshing bitterness in taste and palate.
