COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We all know that the best way to showcase some new hops is to put a f*cktonne of them into a double IPA. Simple malt bill, some Mosaic and Amarillo kettle hops then a big dry hop with two experimental hop varieties, one called Wolf, the other as yet unnamed but going under the codename of Farmageddon. What you get is an 8.3% beer bursting with interesting and not 100% familiar, fruity, juicy hop character.

Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and good fine carbonation. Light malts, a nice light level of creamy sweetness. Hops kick of with a nice floral lemony touch, Sorachi Ace like. Bright tropical fruits, mango and others. Touches of marmalade and candy fruits. A little hop spice on the light finish. Spicy linger. Lovely DIPA - full of fruity hops.

Keg at BD Shepherds Pie, 09/05/16. Amber orange with a well appointed off White head. Nose is candied orange peel, light pine whisper, caramel malt, pink grapefruit, cantaloupe melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, caramel, pine resin, sticky grapefruit, light mango pulp. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent enough DIPA, started a 3.5 finished 3.7, old skool boost juice.

On tap at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. . Clear deep amber russet colour. Some peach some very sweet apricot. Almost marmalade in flavour. Some bitterness on the finish. Some cereal in there too. It’s big and slightly too creamy cereal for me. Hmmm. Ok.

Bottle from Hop Burns & Black. It pours hazy bright copper with a off-white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, orange marmalade, papaya, dried mango and a touch of toffee. The taste is bitter, juicy, papaya, dried mango, marmalade, boozy hit, oily hop, toffee, Scottish macaroon and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. Pretty punchy stuff, but overall good fun.
