Bottle from Drinksmonger, Bruntsfield. Pours hazy. Burnt orange in colour. Aroma is a little muted. Bit of straw. Jammy. Orange musk. Taste has caramel and bread notes but is quickly overtaken by a drying bitterness that comes on strong. Good length of finish with juicy citrus that comes out dry. Creamy carbonation. Medium mouthfeel. Quite sticky. Alcohol is present but works. Good.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a fine white head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Citric hoppy, pine, mild fruity and malty.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a nice bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Semi dry texture.
Taste: Lovely tasty citric hoppy, tropical fruity, malty and pine.
Overall impression: Tasty and pleasant IPA.
Personal stats: On tap at Weird Beard Tap takeover at BrewDog Camden in London, England

330 ml. bottle drank @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Bottled on 03/15. Batch 0171. Pours very hazy orange, big white head. Nose is very murky orange peel, very dry, dry fruits bitter with lots of yeast. Taste is harsh bitter with no balance & plenty of yeast, raw bitterness almost reminiscent of quinine tonic, very bitter dry aspirin, dried peel & big yeast. Just harsh & overly yeasty really. Dough. Body is overly bitter & dry + overly yeast. Heavy yeast, gives it yoghurt-like yeast. Not sure if age plays a big role or it just wasn’t my thing. It still had a long way away from the BBF date.

Pours copper with a huge foamy white head. Aromas of citrus fruits. Nice sweet start gives way to hugely bitter finish.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2015 Hazy golden with a white head. Sweet citrus aroma with some strange smoky notes. The taste is rather dry, very little malts, the resiny zesty bitterness takes over right from the beginning. Simple.

Nice full bodied with lots of malt back bone, which is very clean. Decent fruitiness. Straight forward, slightly sweet but enjoyable IPA

evannell (1382) - Kraków, POLAND - JUL 5, 2015
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2015 Od razu czuć, kto robił to piwo. Porządnie nachmielone, pięknie rozchodzi się po kubkach smakowych. Chce się więcej. Kolejny kufel. Nie zmieniam zdania.

BRW (3073) - Barcelona, SPAIN - JUN 29, 2015
