Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 25/08/2015. Thanks to Leighton. Translucent / golden / orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy off white head. Aroma is caramel, bourbon, boozy, jammy fruits, woody tannin. Flavour is semi-sweet, caramel, jammy, woody and bourbon with some orange and pine hop in the finish. Palate is semi-sweet, viscous, moderate carbonation. Bit boasty.

Bottle share, batch 3, 9.6%, thanks to Leighton. Hazy dark orange / light brown, lightly sparkling, decent foamy off-white head. Aroma is spice, coconut, some plastic, touch of milky coffee and sour milk. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is booze, pine, light biscuity, buttery, twigs, softly woody. Finishes tangy and face-puckeringly dry. Interesting.

Scopey (16277) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2015
Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours lightly hazy orange with a decent white head. The nose is rich, sweet, juicy, stewed orange, peach, apricot, light vanilla and marmalade. The taste is bitter - sweet, peach, nectarine, stewed orange, grainy, marmalade, bready, wood, pine, grainy action and boozy boost with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit boosty.... A bit dirty. A bit underwhelming, but alright.

Leighton (22823) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2015
Bottle shared in London. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Lots of wood in the nose, some crunchy caramel, lightly toasted grains, ripe orange. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with harsh pine and grass bitterness, toasted grains, bread, very dry wood. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with more wood, toasted caramel, orange peel, grains. Pretty heavy and punchy. Just drinkable.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, little dry cream. Well integrated smooth bourbon, tangy. Mild vanilla. Good orange and marmalade hops, not super fresh but bringing good fruity flavours. Light semi dry finish. Not quite the knockout of Batch 2 but a tasty and interesting number all the same.

teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 4, 2014
Backlog rating. Bottle from Mother Kelly’s. It pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is fresh fruity hops with grapefruit, apricots and citrus. Sweet with some notes of wood. Taste is also sweet with huge hops to provide a bitter kick in the finish. More sweet resiny flavour to this one. Body is quite thick with good carbonation. Overall, quite good.

ansalon (4223) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - OCT 31, 2014
