Bottle @Home (Ryder Cup Day 1 2016 tasting). Pours jet black with an off white head. Nose is minty, chocolate, it smells like a mint choc chip ice-cream. Taste is very much like the nose with a long bitter lingering finish. johndoughty (5609) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2016
Bottle.Black with a small.Chocolate and maltiness. Definitely different with a creamy smooth flavour. How do they come up with beers like this that are different but not outrageous? jimbonga (144) - - MAY 28, 2016
Bottle. Pours dark with a large beige head that lasts a while.Nice aroma of chocolate with some mint and menthol. Lovely silky body with taste of slightly milky chocolate. very lush overall. Less mint in the taste than the aroma; just a hint at the very end. I was worried it might overpower and seem gimmicky but just a grace note at the end. weordie (1481) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2016
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is strong chocolate mint, can’t wait to taste. Bit thin bodied but a nice chocolate mint taste. tommann (4124) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2016

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, chocolate, hint of mint, taste is sweet, chocolate, dry roasted, not much mint. Leighton (23401) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2016
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours rich brown with a moderate, frothy beige head. Certainly some cool mint in the nose, a little menthol, green pepper, mellow chocolate. Light sweet flavour with pleasant overarching chocolate character, a little bit of bittersweet baking cocoa, mint leaves, burnt toast, mild earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation and velvety texture. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more baking cocoa, restrained bitter scorched earth, burnt wholegrain bread, underlying mint. A pretty solid effort overall. drjoeng (1484) - SINGAPORE - MAR 26, 2016
5%ABV. Mint Chocolate Stout.
Tapped out brown black. 38ºSRM.
Nose is smoky and with sufficient dark malt depth to be very promising for a stout.
Mouthfeel was soapy. The palate was full of dark malt body, ume palate with a dry finish, and ripe dark fruit body without the sweetness. You get a bit of cool in the finish to suggest mint...but this is well hidden like in that most English of sweet English exports,...After 8 Mints.
Finish is clean. A nice stout all by itself without the need for a promise of something more...we love you just the way you are dunchano...silly Weird Beard!!
