Cask at CP&K. It pours cloudy amber with a small off-white head. The nose is earthy, resin, spice, wood, orange and tangerine. The taste is bitter-sweet, juicy orange, tangerine, mango, resin, alcohol kick, earth, touch of spice and wood with a dry, bitter finish. Medium+body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Nice Amarillo character. Tasty stuff. jamestulloch (4215) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 11, 2013
Aroma: Lime, hard candy, lychee and pine.

Appearance: Murky amber body with a medium off-white head that holds well. No visible carbonation.
Taste: Passionfruit, satsuma and a pronounced lime flavour (the Amarillo hop really is immense). Hint of sweet Belgian yeast with barely any note of the 7.5% ABV.
Palate: Medium to full body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: A really unusual, tasty beer. I love the balance between the sweet yeast and malt and the citrus hops. I’m not sure why it’s listed here as an American Pale Ale when the bottle says it’s a Belgian IPA.
I picked this up at Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon 3rd August 2013 consumed in the main field at Fairports Cropredy Convention, Friday 09.08.13 Hazy orange in colour, with white filmy head. Soft in mouth, a little thick, but tremendously hoppy, I don’t think that I’ve had anything bad from Weird Beard yet. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2013

Keg at BBB. A most enjoyable American pale ale brewed by the good folks at weird beard. Golden. Had hops. The_Bish (1123) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2013
’Did you have a good time at BBB?’ Yes, but I really wanted to try the Weird Beard Amarillo and it wasn’t on, he said disgustedly. Well, what about the plethora of other brilliant beers you coulda had ya big weirdo! Sheesh, some people. Weird Beard have gone up dramatically in my estimations since BBB. Top guy, and this beer was good, some floral action and plenty of fizz. Good work. RichTheVillan (8042) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2013
Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash; hazy amber pour with big white foamy head, orange aroma, juicy tropical hop taste tangerine, a little bit of floral action, backed up with grassy Belgian yeast character. chimpgibbon (556) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2013 Keg at the Vintage. Very impressive single hop ipa. Light on the nose with orange fruits, touch of malt, but then big bubblegum, pine, grapefruit and quite boozy end. Good stuff from this interesting brewer.
