September 19, 2017 - at Craft (St. Mary Axe) - keg draught. GREAT label and name - I apparently I was nowhere near enough to regale the barkeep with my rendition of the Family Guy bit which is where the name comes from. BLACK pour, decent tan head. Inky, light pine aroma - was too cold, so I rolled the glass in my hands a bit and ... there you go; waves of roast, a lot of alcohol, and herbal/floral bitterness - fruity even - a little odd and jangly, but intriguing. Taste follows, add some coffee and as it warmed the resin/pine bitterness began to dominate - didn't seem a hopped up imperial stout at that point. Decent but not huge body, slick, oddly undercarbonated for keg, with only a medium non-coating finish - not as bitter in the linger as the drinkin' phase ... it doesn't actually go anywhere definite in the final analysis, the elements weirdly sort of cancel one another out, but hellwiddit - worth a high 3's score for that name and pump clip art. alex_leit (5540) - Minsk, BELARUS - JAN 21, 2018

Flaska.

Black color, light brown head. Hoppy, roasted scent. Malty, sweet, roasted taste. Sweet, sugary aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Bottle from The Bottle Lab, Leek. 9.2% ABV. Pours a deep brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, blackberry, some red fruits, slight liquorice, a hint of chocolate, yeast and subtle raisin. Taste of roasted malts, dark fruits, some raisin, blackberry, liquorice, a little grapefruit, slight chocolate and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied, a prickly texture and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, slightly warming, spicy fruit bitterness in the finish. For a highly rated Weird Beard Beer this is subpar. Pretty much dark fruits and subtle alcohol. Complex yes, enjoyable yes but not what’s expected. simontomlinson (756) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2017
