Bamberg Bash Day 1.Draft. Bright clear pale gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Clean pale malt, slightly sweet. Touch of citrus -almost not there. Finishes with a fine carbonated bite, semi dry.
Draft at Bamberger Weissbierhaus during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a foamy white head. Really nice pils, good dry cereal character, with a bit of crunchy straw giving bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly hoppy in the finish, with great crunchy cereal, straw, white bread. Solid, super drinkable, lovely. On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. Clear, almost yellow serving, with a small, white head on top. Grain, hay, some fruits and hops in the aroma. The flavor is a bit more on the fruity side, but there’s some grains there as well, and decent bitterness. Thin body and a nice, hoppy finish. Except for the hops it is quite boring. Wouldn’t be much of a beer without it, as it is too thin and not overly exciting. (070804) Dedollewaitor (16314) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2010
Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head and lacings. Lots of hay and grain. Harsh and a bit unrefined. Medium bodied. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2007
Draught at BBF07 as Pils Helles. Shiny, clear golden colour. Small stable white head. Good flavour, malty, spicy and slightly citric in really good balance. Not bitter enough to be a pils IMO, but very good. bierkoning (13592) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2002
Aroma of hay and hops. Sweetish, bit hoppy taste. Medium bodied. Very malty for a pilsener. Rune (13350) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2014
500ml vom fass at Bamberger Weissbierhaus. Crystal clear golden coloured body. Low, but lasting white head. Grass and pale malty nose. Pale malty flavours and a touch of lemon. Harsh bitter endnotes. Accepted, not so bad with the food (Bamberg 10.10.2014).
