COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Dark amber. Nice head. Aroma is malty and slightly smoky. Pleasant. Taste is malty, grainy and nutty. A touch of bitterness. Long finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Low/medium carbonation. This is a delicate and subtle brew. Not overly complex but interesting enough, very balanced, well crafted and oh so sessionable. I’m not really convinced that this is a Märzen (I got my money on Dunkel) but who cares anyway when it’s so delicious.

Weak burnt toast aroma. Red bronze color. Immediate sweet caramel malts followed by toasted bread and corn flakes. Light finish crispy but not long lasting. Easy going beer that gets better with each sip. Slightly sweet with only a tiny dry smoky bitterness under the sticky remnants.

Pours a lovely light Amber with a frothy lasting white head. Smells of a good woody old cellar in an old house: dusty, robust, aged. Taste is of a great kellerbier: sourness, moudly, sweet, sour and perfect bitterness from the hops. It hits you instantly as interesting. It’s like old books, then boom, it’s toffee...then crisp with the hops. Fantastic balance and a real surprise.

Pours an amber-bright brown, filtered color, with a medium sized, pillowy white head. Smells of wood bark and whole-grain bread, wrapped up by toffee and a whiff of hay. Features a convincing bread impression, due to its profound maltiness. Drinks very easy, staying focused on the malts, together with a medium, slightly metallic carbonation. Tastes of a soft aqueous quality, immediately accompanied by toffee sweet malts. Malts grow more profound, while getting breadier at the same time. Finishes with a bubbly carbonation, revealing a caramel sweetness, among the beers mellow breadiness. Perfectly well put together, with a great bread profile to it, while it drinks very easy.
