A beer in perfection balanced, one of the best Lager I have ever had, Where you still have the desire to have another one, even when you had already 3 or 4.
Great stuff. Just awesome.

Wooden barrel at redhot, Munich.
Hazy red. Malt, dry woody mouth feel, a hint of yeast. Lovely beer. DrNosha (2287) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - OCT 11, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2016 Vom Fass im Klosterbrauhaus. Glänzende bernsteinfarbe, wenig Schaum. Frisches Röstaroma. Süßlich malziger Antrunk. Dann Kaffe, Schokolade, Brot und Vanille im Abgang. Extrem süffig! SinH4 (4711) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - FEB 8, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2017 Bottle. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is fresh tomato risp, breadcrust, nutty, a bit spicy-earthy. Taste is breadcrust, bready yeasts, nutty, hay, a touch oxidized, but in the rustic nice way. Natural carbonation. Very rustic, drinkable, Franconian. 7-4-7-4-15

Holzfass at Fränkisches Bierfest. A perfect rustic Franconian Rotbier. Perfectly balanced, while not losing flavour or complexity, with some cigar-like wood flavours. 7-5-8-5-16
Bottle. Dark amber. Nice head. Aroma is malty and slightly smoky. Pleasant. Taste is malty, grainy and nutty. A touch of bitterness. Long finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Low/medium carbonation. This is a delicate and subtle brew. Not overly complex but interesting enough, very balanced, well crafted and oh so sessionable. I’m not really convinced that this is a Märzen (I got my money on Dunkel) but who cares anyway when it’s so delicious. thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 21, 2010
Bottle. Bronze body, nice head. Earthy autumn aroma with a hint of smoke. Well balanced - taste is malty and sweet. The sweetness is balanced with woodiness in aftertaste. Very good, seems to be underrated here. neverleaveopen (254) - GERMANY - OCT 30, 2013

This is a Vienna Lager,not a Kellerbier.
And its a good one enidlesim (73) - - JAN 30, 2016
Pours a lovely light Amber with a frothy lasting white head. Smells of a good woody old cellar in an old house: dusty, robust, aged. Taste is of a great kellerbier: sourness, moudly, sweet, sour and perfect bitterness from the hops. It hits you instantly as interesting. It’s like old books, then boom, it’s toffee...then crisp with the hops. Fantastic balance and a real surprise.
