50cl bottle @ Brisbane German Club. Clear copper-brown appearance with decent creamy-white head and lace. Nose is sweet caramel malt driven with definite smoky notes and perhaps a hint of dark chocolate. Taste is straightforward sweet roasty caramel malts and a light hop bitterness. 0.5l bottle. Dark amber body, off white head. Sweet malty aroma, mostly toast and caramel, but there is some floral hoppyness too. Taste reflects the aroma. Mostly sweet caramely, toasty malts but the finish has some floral hops in it. Very nice dunkel. I like it. MichaelAwesome (6516) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2013
