mahogany colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head, which disappears surprisingly quickly; aroma of rye bread, roasted nuts; slight cocoa notes, minimal grassy hops and some fruitiness; taste is the same; correct dunkel, but nothing extra Ritzn (1380) - GERMANY - NOV 14, 2016
Dark ruby with fast vanishing head. Aroma is lots of nuts, some roast, maybe raisins and some syrup. Taste is good malty sweetness with a too crispy and unsmooth sourness, quite much umami, medium roast bitterness. Nice drinkability without being too easy. Full body, medium finish. Nice, despite the unsmoothness. pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 4, 2009
Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, big persistent fluffy beige head; moderate nutty nose with shy hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, soft, creamy MF; some hops detectable in the mild malty bitter finish and nuts in the aftertaste. A mild, but well balanced and pleasant Dunkel.............. yespr (45464) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 3, 2009
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber, golden with a small off-white head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Roasted and breadish malt flavoured. Lasting sweet, roasted and breadish flavoured finish. Balanced with a light hoppy touch. bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2009
Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, cacao and milk chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and cacao, the hides the presence of a limited amount of flowery hops. Really liked this one.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Malty chocolate notes, some light lactose notes, caramel and toffee. Some thin butter scotch tones, light wood and a hint of smoke. A nice ale. kitschy (326) - Nebraska, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Chocolatey nose with a hint of orange. Color of dietrite cola with a nice off-white head. Tastes sweet and bubbly. There are hops here, but not what I expected from the nose - flavor is more hay-like. TBone (17544) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 7, 2010
