Flasche. - Tiefes Rotbraun. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 19, 2014

(bottle) Clear, chestnut brown colour with a firm medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate, bread crusts and shades of grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty malty taste with caramel, chocolate and distinctively nutty notes lingering into the toasty and slightly hoppy finish. A likeable Dunkel. 02.V.14 michcam8 (565) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Pours a copper color, with little to no head. Aroma of sweet malts, slight dark fruits, and bread. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malt up front, toast, and dark fruits...somewhat dry, and warm to the tummy. Finish lingers on the tongue for some time. Overall, not bad, but would not seek out again....due to the cost. Lele (556) - Padova, ITALY - JUN 4, 2016
ASPETTO: marrone abbastanza scuro, limpido. Schiuma marroncino chiarissimo, fine, abbondante e non molto persistente. AROMA: maltato e frutta secca predominanti.

Pours bright mahogany into a stein. Off-white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Cookie and nutmeg aromas. Crisp and dry with cookie and caramel malts. Dorwart (2590) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - APR 17, 2010
Strong off-white head of fine and dense bubbles. Sweet malty aroma with a bit of spice and vegetal aromas. Color is a very nice dark crimson brown. Lots of bready malts, some roasted brains, brown sugar and some cloying sweetness. Little bit sickly sweet in the stomach. Finishes thick and malty with a bit of lingering spices and squash. An ok brew. Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2010
