Nice is traditional Marzen with sweet bready malts and a sessionable profile. ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Aroma: Bready, but old and somewhat stale. A little caramel, too, and a little metal. Lightly fruity, with an apple tinge. Appearance: Bubbly copper pour with an off-white head that dissipates completely. Flavor: Bread becomes more toasty; there is an underlying herbal presence not immediately detected in the nose. Caramel-glazed all around. Lingers with some bitterness toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Not a particularly pleasing example of the style for me. Just aiight. jrodooo5 (1638) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Blah. Avg pour & ok aroma. The taste is dominated by malt but not really flavorful. I’m not really a fan. Ok at best.

Bottle, pours deep amber with a big pale brown head. Toast & marmalade and a touch of demerara on the nose. A bitter edge heralds toffee and more marmalade, and an almost syrupy texture turns out dry and peppery, with caramel and spice notes. Excellent stuff!
