Deep amber color appearance with a tan head. Dark wheat nose with some sweetness. Pretty sweet, dark toasty, wheat malty body.

It’s unclear dark brown with a creamy, huge head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, yeast, caramel and licorice. The sweet flavor has notes of caramel, roasted malt, light licorice, yeast and light fruit, the finish is slightly dry and spicy. A nice dunkle weisse.

Bottle: Amber to deep amber coloured, hazy, big fluffy to creamy off-white head; lemony-fruity and caramelly-wheaty nose with yeasty traces underneath; mild, but moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied, soft; slight caramelly and lemony-wheaty finish, followed by a light "leafy" tartness. O.K. ....

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and huge foamy head, which is furthermore pretty persistent. Sweet and yeasty cara-malty, only a bit wheaty aroma with notes of cloves and a tinge of dried fruits. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Cara-malty and wheaty taste with a mineralic touch and moderately fruity notes; quite dry and slim finish with a touch of caramel and fruity notes. IMO the dark character would work better with a bit more body, otherwise well-made. 29.V.10

bottle, traded with Frankenland. Cloudy brown colour, off-white head, creamy and very large. Malty nose. Malty, slightly yeasty and wheaty with hints of chocolate and cocoa powder. Shy flavours, I wish they were more intensive, as it is a nice beer.
