Bottled. A hazy nut-brown beer with a fluffy orange head. The aroma has notes of caramel, wheat, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and a lesser note of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. I’d like more character.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 7, 2007
bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy brown colour, large head. Flavour of malt, roasted malt, chocolate and caramel, slightly yeasty and wheaty. Short finish.

500 ml bottle. From mein-biershop.de.
Dark reddish brown colour with big creamy light tan head. Caramel, malt, yeast, chocolate and cola in aroma. Flavour is toasted malt, chocolate and some notes of hops. Quite spritzig. I was surprised that this wasn’t Dunkelweizen.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2010
0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A and hanniku! Almost opaque dark chestnut brown. Nutty, toffeish, toasty and slightly peppery aroma. Nutty, toffeish and slightly fruity flavor with licorice, restrained pepper and some spicy bitterness. Easy drinkability but kind of flat taste, no highlights.

mile (3945) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 11, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate malty – wheaty sweetish flavor, light caramel. Body is average, malty – wheaty, lightly sweetish and roasted flavor. Finish is short to average, malty – wheaty, lightly sweetish and roasted. OK dunkel weisse, the body is a bit thin.

TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 19, 2011
Bottled 500ml (Tuulensuu, BB 02/2012)
Dark ruby, small brownish head. Aroma of tobacco and old booze, not very pleasant. Light to medium bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma: ashy, lots of tobacco, a bit acidic. Some caramel too. At least personal, not just very pleasant.

laiti (8468) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 19, 2011
50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 06.02.2012
Somewhat tart aroma with roasted malt, spit, some gastric acid and sauerkraut. Smells actually like a breath of a smoking person who has not brushed his teeth. Flavour is tart and a bit acidic with some roastiness, tobacco and ash. Weird and not good.
