500ml bottle (Kitty’s, Helsinki)Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2008
Deep cloudy yellow, large tight head. Huge peppery and dusty aroma, but with the usual banana wheatiness backing that up. Pleasant carbonation, refreshing palate, tingly and sharp in the mouth. Some fruity esters retronasally. Fairly sour taste. A fairly simple refreshing weizen, but not brilliant. Too sour for a start. Finish has a touch of hops which are nice.
It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of wheat, light banana and a weak sourness. The flavour has a light sourness and a light sweetness. It has notes of banana, wheat and light clove. It’s OK, but on the somewhat weak side.

On tap at Gasthaus Kaiserdom, Bamberg. Clouded orange with short head. Thin spicy, banana in a belgian type wheatbeer. Quite scenty with cloves, fairly standard though. mabjork (693) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 15, 2008
Thanx to Dorqui for this one. Bottled. A bubbly white head, a malty scent. The flavor is wheaty with malt and has a sweet feel to it. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2008
Bottled. Hazy orange colour, big white foamy head. Aroma is mild wheat, quite lagerish with some spices and banana. Flavour is traditional weissbier with some white bread. Wellbalanced and refreshing. larsga (7630) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2008
Medium white shiny head. Hazy opaque orangey body. Thin mealy aroma with hints of citrus, yeast, banana, and chalk. Papery, mealy, chalky yeast taste with notes of banana and citrus. Dry mealy aftertaste. Faint chocolatey notes. Sharpish mouthfeel throughout. A bit flat and boring, but not really flawed in any way. (0.5l bottle from Leipzig, probably Bauer brewery outlet. BBD of Nov 2007.) LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - NOV 19, 2007
