COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second in our year’s series of beers centred around the rich history of Welbeck racehorses. This is a light Amber ale brewed using a blend of 5 different English and American hops. The nose is of spice and blackcurrants from English Bramling Cross, lifted with a subtle touch of citrus from the Cascade variety. The bitter note is smoothed and with sweet crystal malt to give a beer jam-packed with flavour.

On tap at the Strugglers Inn Lincoln. Golden colour with a thick off white head. Aroma is caramel malty and thin fruit. Taste thin and light sweet. Medium body.

Cask. No great scent but a little light spice and berry notes. Pours pale amber with white top and some lacing. Taste is medium body with a soft finish. There is some sweet malts but to call this"jam-packed with flavour" is unjustified in my view. So not a nag to bet on.

500ml bottle from Abbey brewery - a fruity amber with subtle forest fruit notes. Not one of their best, but pleasant all the same.
